
Bisnaguinhas
packaging design
Bisnaguinhas is one of Panco’s flagship products and a market leader in its category. Although primarily designed for children, it is widely enjoyed across all ages. Soft, light, and instantly recognizable by its rounded shape inspired by a traditional bisnaga, Bisnaguinhas has become an iconic item in the brand’s portfolio.
/ challenge
To modernize the visual identity of the well-known Bisnaguinhas packaging while preserving its strong brand recognition, and to develop a seasonal edition titled “Musical Instruments”. The concept needed to introduce musical themes, explain how the instruments work, and remain compatible with rotogravure printing limitations of up to eight colors.
/ opportunity
The mascot was redesigned to match the musical theme, and a set of custom illustrations was created to present different instruments in a playful and educational way. Visual elements were refreshed to give the packaging a more contemporary look while staying faithful to the established Bisnaguinhas identity. Color choices, composition, and graphic details were carefully planned to optimize print performance within the constraints of rotogravure production.
